Claiming questions
Why do you call the business phone?
Only the business answers its own phone, so a code sent to that number shows you really run it. Email codes work the same way: they only go to the email we have on file for the business, or to an address at its own website.
What if I can’t answer that phone?
Choose “Text me” if it’s a mobile. If we have an email for the business, or it has its own website, you can get the code by email instead. If none of those work, send us proof, like a utility bill or business license. We check it by hand, usually within 2 business days.
Does claiming cost anything?
No. Claiming and the free listing are free. Verified is optional.
Can more than one person manage the listing?
One account per business for now. Contact us if you need to change who manages it.
